Get Your Voice Heard: living with dementia in country South Australia

Alzheimer’s Australia SA is going to regions across South Australia to listen to people living with dementia, their families and carers and service providers.

They want to know the top issues facing people living with dementia

  • What is being done.
  • What is not being done.
  • Key actions in the regions to meet the needs of people living with dementia.

Across rural South Australia there are over 7,100 people living with dementia and a further 27,000 impacted. The findings will provide an up to date, evidence based picture of the situation facing these people, to be the basis for a major report as part of Alzheimer’s Australia SA’s policy advocacy.

There are two forums in each location:

Forum 1: People living with dementia, their families and carers 10.00am – 12.30pm

Forum 2: Service providers 2.00pm – 4.30pm

To register call the Alzheimer’s Helpline on 1800 100 500.

Can’t attend but want to make a comment? Call 1800 100 500 and ask for Phil Saunders.
