Chasing dreams full of hope
Muscles gleaming
Abs like washboards
Wondering
Desperately
Why I’m not home in bed
One look in those dreaded mirrors
Tells a tale worth thousands
The truth
I could be doing this from home
No monthly fees
Resolutions not in the bin
Watching butterflies and birds
Walking along the creek
Hand in hand with my BUB
And a feraband or two
Far more fun
Than smelling and watching
Strangers
Spending their
Life in the gym

Gym’s leave a lot to be desired. Never could understand why people would want to go into a box and sweat and stink crammed in with others when they could be losing weight walking out in nature…Crazy! VK xxoo
