My geeky blogs!!

Keep up with my geeky blogs she says! Not sure if this is a compliment, but hey, my glass is always half full, so I’ll take it as one anyway. I’m glad the discussion of my little disasters brightens your day. It probably makes us all – well the so-called non-geeks! – feel normal too, as we are out there and we are becoming geeks, but we don’t have the deep dark foundations of the IT knowledge, or, we have memory loss and can’t remember it anyway. We are lovers of the new ways to chat, the twittering and tweeting, the blogging, the Facebook, Tumblr, MySpace, Flickr, LinkedIn, and who knows how many other ways to find each other. Perhaps the phone might be easier some days, but hardly anyone answers their phone, at least not just for a chat. So bring it on, this geeky nerdy new existence, I just need extra time to watch the tutorials, log on, open it all up, and get on with writing. I thought to be a true geek, I needed to write a poem about my time at WordCamp Gold Coast… so here it is!
