My access to the internet has died (8am)! Not on all devices in my home, just my trusty little pc! What is a girl to do? Well, I am using my old computer and all the stuff I’m working on is on the dysfunctional one which is not easy to manage. However I need to access email traffic, and don’t know how to export them all to the other computer!!! What to do? I say again! It gives perspective to my life, and a deeper understanding of the distress my geeky friends must go through when things go wrong. They in fact probably don’t have much distress as they are much more advanced in their skill levels than me, and can probably fix their problems! It never pays to get too complacent about your own knowledge and abilities. I just wish I’d stop forgetting the basic stuff, so I could learn and remember more of the geekier stuff! My husband has fixed my problems (6pm), as well as organised a wireless printer for my office. I say thanks, and hip hip hooray. And finally, I have to fess up that I had accidentally turned off a button at the front of my pc, which stopped my internet access!! Another day tomorrow, and a glass of wine to get over all of this tonight. And a damn good laugh!
