Day 3 of Project 366

Okay, so it is Day 3 of Project 366: Conversations with Kate (and her blog followers!). I’ve just posted a daily blog, but have since realised I’ve actually set myself up to write a second post here, so that we can actually have a real conversation! For now, tonight, all I have left in my tank is to say I truly welcome your insights, and hope I can contribute alongside you in a way that is meaningful and as effortless as possible for all of us. Daily, weekly, monthly or whenever you feel up to it is okay with me, I will just look forward to hearing from you. XXX (previously posted on the Conversation Page)

  1. Hi Kate, have just been able to access my emails as we have been away over the Christmas period. I have read your blog about 376 project and would love to be involved. You spoke about boundaries – have you been able to set these up. I sometimes think my life is not really interesting to anyone – so look forward to the challenge. Hope and Love Robynx

    • Hi Robyn, The only boundaries so far are to write as often as you can on the Conversations page. So, creative writing, poetry, personal life stories, whatever you might like to see in a book one day!! Comments to my daily blogs are best to go as replies to the particular blog. Love, Kate

  2. Isn’t it funny how everything viewed at a distance is perfect.

The perfect sunset or sunrise, the most beautiful flower all brilliant displays of beauty.

However the closer you get to the most beauty things in the world you will see the most glaring imperfections, in fact they are probably no less flawed than the objects than appeared so unappealing from a distance.

Is this the same with relationships, do we judge the people close to us more harshly than the distance relationships than we expect no more than an email or a phone call now and again.

Do we hold them to a higher standard? Are we more critical of our family? We say love in unconditional but are we upset if this standard isn’t reached.

Is the grass always greener, should you judge a book by it’s cover or do you reap what you sow?

These sayings always seem to be so true but for everyone there always seems to be another that refutes it.

In the end the more I think the more confused I get.

I’ve just come to the conclusion that Life is.

I am sad, beaten up and emotional drained by life.

I have no expectations, my dreams and hopes are dashed like a boat on rocks in a stormy sea.

All I have is my love for my wife, it is all that keeps this flawed individual afloat.
