My blog today, partly meant specifically for my wonderful blog followers is to offer an explanation of why I am not actively following everyone’s blogs. Whilst I wonder over to your blogs and love reading them, getting emails from too many bloggers is just too challenging for me to keep up with. I have also signed up to actively follow some of you on Twitter (I think), but for some reason can’t keep up with that either! So when you comment on my blog, or click the Like button, I usually drop in to your blog and have a read. Sometimes I remember how to leave a comment, sometimes not.
I am being active, as so far I am keeping up with my goal from last September to post a Daily blog, and the 2012 goal to write a daily Conversation for Project 366; and I am reading a lot of your blogs. Last night I also discovered some things that have had a profound effect on me, as a human being, as a mother, and as a blogger. I have learnt new lessons, and feel right now there is time needed for thinking and discovery, and the reason for this very short blog. The song Everybody’s Free is what I need today, followed by some Noble Silence. I will try every day to live more freely, be more active, love more openly, and allow more time for silence.

Don’t try to do anything “more”, Kate, you’re doing wonderfully as it is.

Take it easy Kate. Breathe the air. Hear the silence. Read waht you can – not what you feel obligated to.
Thanks for reminding me of Rzalla’s ‘Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good)’ it’s one of my absolute faves. I took the opportunity to lift these lyrics which resonante so well with you expereince of growing community online but also made me refrlect further on your post of 11/1/12 – ‘Parenting, family meetings and real estate.’
We are a family that should stand together as one
Helping each other instead of just wasting time
Now is the moment to reach out to someone
It’s all up to you
When everyone’s sharing their hope
Then love will win through
All power to you Kate as you build family and community.

I hope if you come to my blog, that you will make a comment (on my latest entry – that is where everybody will be) because I would like the folks who read my blog (an amazing group of men and women) to read your blog because you have so much to offer . . . . That seems to be how it works; a low key, online gathering of people who would like to make a difference.
