Prescribed Disengagement
Puts people with dementia into a bubble
One of disablement and disempowerment
Sending us to aged care and death
No words of life as we once knew it
Nor signs it will ever return
Not a glimpse of well being ahead
Now is the time
Like a beautiful butterfly
Emerging from its cocoon
That people with dementia
Can spread their glorious wings
Agree with all the comments dear one, love the picture and poem, inspirational and positive as always. Love you xxxx

People with Dementia are beautiful people and as Carers we must find ways to help them spread their beautiful wings every opportunity we are able – and may we soar with them in love and harmony. xox
