Wishing you all a safe and peaceful festive season. As I reflect on the las year, I’d have to say this year has been one hell of a roller coaster ride, perhaps the understatement of my life! But, it is always interesting, and the days when things appear like the light at the end of the tunnel has gone out, definitely ensure when the lights are back on they shine more brightly.
May your highlights of 2016 have been wonderful, may your festive season be full of the best things you can dream of, and I hope the year ahead in 2017 is productive and purposeful, and brings you great joy and all the love and kindness you need to keep you getting out of bed each day.
For me personally, 2017 will be a year of reminding myself to keep believing, to keep flying in the direction of my own beliefs and dreams, and to be more careful about how I manage those things that have the potential to stop me paddling ahead of when dementia or any other disease might decide to do that for me.
My biggest lesson in 2016 has been that there are many examples of negativity and terrible things happening in the world, more often caused by human unkindness. Thankfully, those who matter in our lives are always there for us when we need them.
“those who matter in our lives are always there for us when we need them.” I’m glad that’s true for you Kate, but many of us are flying solo, with no one to turn to when we are under attack or simply failing from exhaustion. Not complaining, just saying ❤

Flying solo might be easier some days Susan… no expectations of anyone? Your online ‘family’ who believe in you and what you do, is 100% here for you, even though a real hug is too far away xxx
