Festive wishes…

Screen Shot 2015-12-23 at 10.53.15 am

It is Christmas Eve in Australia, and after reading an article yesterday about really having time away from the daily routines and work, I have decided this is my last blog for 2015! I have had a truly incredible year, full of many highs and at least as many lows. It is wonderful that I have been loved, encouraged, and sometimes even admonished by my wonderful blog community, and I love you all for even bothering to read my blog occasionally. I will write up the highlights of 2015 early in 2016.

Wishing you a wonderful festive season, and I hope for those of you like me, where this time of year is not necessarily so special or enjoyable, nor easy to cope with emotionally due to grief and loss, or ‘lost’ family and friends, please be gentle on yourselves, and on each other.

Love, friendship, compassion, and non judgemental understanding and acceptance of each other has to be the way forward…

Be the change you are seeking.

  1. I’ve been trying to have a Christmas break too but wanted to wish you and your family a belated Merry Christmas and a very happy new year! It was such a thrill to meet you and listen to you speak in July. I very much hope we’ll meet again in 2016. All the very best, Kate xx

  2. Darling Kate,
    Sending you and yours a sparkling Christmas joy and New Year overflowing with enchanting moments, fabulousness and bliss. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
    Hope it was a day of sweet delight as you dance on the tables with bells on your toes.
    May 2016 be a brilliant year of running into the future with gay abandon, knowing you have the power to live as you choose. Cherish those who matter, dare to dream and embrace the madness of this grand adventure we have been given. Cuddle the person next to you and spend the next few days laughing with elation. Stay in your magic my friend and twirl joyously as you become increasingly drunk with the beauty of our wondrous existence. ✨🌟🌟✨
    Now go and fling Christmas paper at each other and put ribbons in your hair. 🎀🎁
    May the end of 2015 be merry and bright. 🍾🍷🍸🍴
    Keep smiling, laugh often and love grandly. ❤️💜❤️💜
    Love and awesomeness. 🎅🏻🎅🏻🎄🎄🎅🏻🎅🏻🎄🎄🎅🏻🎅🏻🎄🎄

  3. Lovely post, and I hope that you have a lovely Christmas and new year break away from the blog 🙂 Thanks for your friendship and for being the advocate and fighter that you are {big hug}

  4. My dear Kate, you’ve been a wonderful mentor and a good friend to me this year. To me you’re an amazing source of inspiration, in my work and personal life. Thank you my darling…
    My very best wishes for a joyful holiday season and a happy new year! Auguri a tutta la tua famiglia e amici più cari… xxx

  6. Kate, A well deserved vacation for yourself. You too please be good and look for the gratefulness in this great Christmas time. Love you, Michael P.S. I am weathering the storm here in Chicago, on the weather front and on the emotion front!

  7. May your holiday from blogging be rich with the sweet warmth of family. I will miss our daily chats, but happy in the knowledge that you are relaxing. Until 2016, your Michigan friend Mary.
