A look, a gentle touch, an embrace, a smile, an invisible cloud of love, almost tangible, full of caring and special moments… my eyes connect with my husbands, and my heart knows it is being truly cared for, my soul knows it is safe, and my life is full, brimming with goodness, it makes everything else in my world bearable. He honours the person I am, helps me accept the things I think I should change, and his love makes me want to be a better person. Our young friends married yesterday, and their obvious devotion and love for each other inspired me to reflect on my own marriage and love.
