RocKwiz Christmas concert

My day was busy, and then out tonight, the reason for this very late blog. But, in keeping with my goal, I will still have only missed one day since September 2! What a pleasure it was to be out tonight with our lovely neighbours to see the RocKwiz Christmas Concert at the Thebarton theatre. It was a better format than the last one of two years ago, although then we couldn’t get seats here so we flew to Melbourne for it, so that part of the occasion was definitely more fun. Of course tonight the questions were based around Christmas. Christmas music, appalling bon-bon jokes, and some carols. I’ll never be able to attend Christmas carols ever again with the same enthusiasm, as tonight made me realise they are nowhere near as much fun as a RocKwiz Christmas concert! The theatre was brimming over with fun, love, laughter and lots of Christmas cheer. For those of you who don’t know about RocKwiz, here you go… http://www.sbs.com.au/rockwiz/

On our way back to the car after this uplifting concert, someone asked me what have you got on for tomorrow? I said, Not sure until I get home and look in my diary. Then my husband asked Have you got Dr Xxxx, or did you cancel him? I said, Not sure, I guess we’ll find out when we get home. If it’s crossed out in the diary, then I’ve probably cancelled the appointment. Then I thought about it, and said, but I might have crossed it out, and then forgotten to cancel it, or, it’s not crossed out, but I have cancelled it. I guess I’ll find out when I get there! It seems confusing to write about it, it was confusing to think and talk about it, and now I’m home I know my diary says I’ve cancelled it, but in truth, I’m still not sure. At least writing about it tonight might remind me to phone in the morning and check! The one sure thing about dementia is we are constantly pushed to be  accepting of change!
