The words escape me

“If the writing is honest it cannot be separated from the man [person] who wrote it.” Tennessee Williams

There is not much to say on my blog tonight as the words have escaped me due to a mild case of shock. I was nearly run over by a car again tonight, a much closer call than the first two occasions. No major dramas, I am here to tell the tale, but in all honesty that is all there is left to tell. My dear husband as always was nearby, and this time actually saved me from getting hit. Three cheers for my back up brain and the best boy Scout in London. No matter how much we think we are managing the symptoms of dementia, there is always something that pops up to surprise us…

    • How awful for you all, I imagine the memory is still very strong. The whole safety issue surrounding people with dementia has been highlighted during our travels especially in a place like London, maybe because there is so much more traffic than in my small hometown city of Adelaide, more stressful for my husband perhaps.
