Congratulations Alzheimer’s Australia Victoria

A Night to Remember Flashmob – Alzheimer’s Australia Vic dinner to Fight Dementia http://youtu.be/HaapgHj4WSc

This is a fabulous way to promote awareness of dementia to a wider audience, and I hope the rest of the world joins Victoria in this innovative approach.

On another note, I apologise for once again not being able to embed the YouTube video clip into the blog post. No matter how I try, it just won’t work, so if anyone out there can tell me what I’m doing wrong… please do so. When I was first learning to use a computer, my DH always told me when something went wrong with my computer, it was ‘user error’. I’m sure that’s still the case!!!

ps. I’m editing, and trying this embedding thing again, thanks to Sally. xo

  1. Yay, I did it!! I copied the details onto a word document, then closed the link on YouTube, then copied it over from the word document… maybe when I copied it straight onto the blog post it deleted a character that I didn’t notice??!! Thanks again Sally for the motivational coaching. x

  2. Go to the clip on youtube that you want. Click on “Share” (under the play window)

Copy the highlighted stuff that appears in the window.

    Close youtube.

Open your “new post” window. Paste the copied stuff directly into your new post.

    That’s it.

However, sometimes it doesn’t work after you’ve published it – go back to your post window via edit and you’ll find there’s an extra character been inserted that wasn’t in the original paste. No idea why that happens. Just delete that, and it should work (!)
