Happy New Year. I wish you every Blessing and a year full of peace and personal growth. Let the road be long and winding, with enough bumps to get us to sit up and take notice of how good life is once we recover! Whatever you get up to this year, do it with gusto and passion, and more love than you have before. Unconditional love, and friendship will be at the centre of my heart.

Gosh it’s good to read your NY blessing of love, contentment and growth! The last, I believe can occur without immense emotional pain; instead, by being alert to others’ needs, and things outside one’s seIf. It’s easy with my beautiful grandchildren, but oh the growing pains with people who send you cross-eyed with irritation, like a certain terminally cranky neighbour!

Happy New Year to you too Vanessa. You have been an inspiration to me too; as a ‘late life writer’ it is easy to have doubts and get off track… thanks for helping me to stay on the tracks. When/if we ever come to France again, perhaps we will meet? I would love that! With love and hope, Kate xo
