Strength of character

brokenA few weeks ago I felt broken after a crisis… and many of you sent me your support here, via email and on Facebook. Thank you. It seems to have been one of the greatest tests of my emotional ability to recover my heart and soul. Ever.

And in a strange sort of way, on searching for the positives, the ‘glass half full’ philosophy, it made having a diagnosis of dementia easier to accept and cope with!

It pushed me to find a deeper strength of character, to lean on the family and friends who love me, warts and all, and to search for a greater forgiveness in my heart.

  1. I was not aware of a crisis Kate…I am sorry I did not know and was not there for you. Whatever it was I am glad you are on the mend. I have no doubts about you ever pulling through whatever comes your way! Your strength is mighty and your heart is full of love. Nothing more needed for mending 🙂 Glad you are feeling better. Be well friend and keep hope alive….Hugs…VK

    • You are always there for me VK, regardless of the fact we have not met in person, nor have contact every day. Your commitment to a better world has such a positive effect on us all. Thank you and hugs right back at you 🙂

  2. I’m SO glad you’re feeling better …… I’ve been thinking and wondering how you’ve been going.

You might like to click on a song on this page ……. it’s a page full of the song “I get by with a little help from my friends”……

Thought you’d enjoy listening to the real song rather than the song going through your head?? (not unless you’ve already googled the song and beaten me to the punch!!)
