The Best Australian Blogs 2013 Competition had a staggering 1122 blogs enter. Finalists were announced yesterday, and Creating life with words: Love, life and loss was not one of them.

This is the notice we all received yesterday:

“Thank you for entering this year’s Best Australian Blogs Competition. Altogether, 1122 bloggers entered.  It has been an honour to read your blogs, and a challenge to select only 25 finalists. You can see this year’s finalists here. The winners will be announced on Wednesday 1 May. The winners of the special awards will also be announced then. However, the People’s Choice round is still open. Over 13,500 votes have already been cast, but they’re spread fairly evenly across the 1008 entrants. So it’s still anyone’s round!”

Voting closes at 5pm on Tuesday 30th April 2013; if you haven’t voted yet, and would like to, then please do so, and consider spreading the word! It is the power of social media that might just win this award… YOUR vote will count!
