“Pass Time” – Living with Alzheimer’s

This short film was shown at the Alzheimer’s Australia 15th National Conference in Hobart, produced by the son of the wonderful and extraordinary Robyn Moore who was the MC at the conference. Make sure you tune into her link, as the short clip is very motivational.

Published on May 14, 2013 on YouTube, “Alzheimer’s can be a tragic, aggravating, patience-destroying disease. My Gran had Alzheimer’s. She was an amazing woman. It was during one of my last conversations with her that I realised it could be a shocking, nostalgic and surprisingly joyous affliction! Once you remember (we often forget) that elderly people have MUCH more experience at life than “wise-old-you”, their reality, whatever it may be, can be an amazing ride. Cherish them and embrace it.”

  1. My beloved father died two years ago when he for got how to breathe. Alzheimers is such a debilitating disease that strips people of their dignity, their present and eventually even their past lives. Thank you for sharing this with us. I have shared the video on my Facebook. Have you seen the Alzheimer Project series?

The only thing missing in this global conversation is YOUR voice... Thank you.
