Memory is like a stack of china

Memory is like a stack of china

If you try to pull a plate from the middle

The whole thing comes crashing down

We need to be given time

To continue our stories

Chronologically

One china plate at a time

  3. It is also interesting to note that a plate, even a stack of plates, can hold significant weight when sitting on a flat surface, But, when dropped a few feet at an angle will crash into pieces. Sometimes it is difficult to keep on a flat surface with dementia. I think that moving slowly is part of the answer.

  4. Oh Kate, I just love today’s blog. And with your permission and due reference will quote it. I do hope you are well. The biogpraphy work I am doing is going well, though we are hamstrung through lack of ongoing funding – we are hanging in because of the conviction that this is a positive and incredible program that must continue and to grow. Take care.
