Initially I struggled with the concept of being dementia/gay/disabled/child/age-friendly, as feel we should all be respectful and helpful to each other. However, becoming dementia friendly is a useful goal for communities and countries, and I really like this short ‘ad’ from the Dementia Friends UK.It is uplifting, and the message it simple. Enjoy… and follow the lead of those of us wanting and working hard to make the world a better place for everyone who is living with dementia, or caring for someone living with dementia.
Thanks Kate. I often read your posts but have to admit not every day. Love the ad. Hope it works wonders. Mary
