Aloneness

Screen Shot 2016-07-02 at 9.13.47 AM

He sits
Alone
Amongst a crowd

Wondering what
Tomorrow
Will bring forth

His dreams
Wondering
How to realise

Always pondering
Aloneness
New directions

Questioning the
Old
Seeking new truths

It’s not
Loneliness
He has friends

But a
Yearning
Inside his soul

Focusing on
Love
For the universe

  1. Kate thank you so much for sharing this beautiful poem, I have tried to “like” it on the webpage, but failed!! Anyway I just wanted to say how much I feel honoured to walk your journey with from afar. I am a chaplain and meet many people who are living with dementia, your blog is an inspiration and I so thank you.

    Blessings
