10,000 words! That was my goal today. I started at 9am, three hours later than planned, but at 6am I thought, what the hell, it is Sunday, and stayed in bed to share the cup of tea made for me by my husband. As usual, the tea (which I usually make but was too lazy to get out of bed today!) was delicious, and in no time at all our two beautiful Russian Blue cats Star and Boris, back on the bed for their morning cuddles! They, and then I went back to sleep, so there I was waking up once again to what seemed like a lovely lazy Sunday morning, to remember my crazy goal! Pete was out for his Sunday walk, and I rushed through the bathing processes into my office to my pc. Well, I have just reached my goal: 10,381 words. Rambling. Unedited. Desperate. In need of editing. Perhaps some of it repetitive as I may not have remembered what I’ve previously written. But done! Goal reached with time to spare for sunshine and friends. My eldest son thinks I’m crazy, and has been sneaking in every so often to find out how I’m going , laughing with love at the numbers on the calculator we work out together, at how ridiculous it sounds to have thought of doing it at all!! But I have made it today. And, better than that, I now feel confident I will make that total of 50,000 words for NaNoWriMo on Wednesday at 11.59pm. I think I might just wake up this eldest son of mine to let him share my joy.

Hi Kate, Congratulations on an excellent effort. Hope and Love Robynx
