In the shoes of Karen (2)… a daughter’s insights into life in a care home

In the shoes of Karen (2)… a daughter’s insights into life in a care home.

I read this, and felt it needed reblogging straight away… another way to view a person with dementia. Sadly, this is my experience as friend and guardian to loved ones currently living in residential care.

  1. it is so unfortunate that there is not a supervisor here who pulled her up.. ban mobiles from working hours and nothing to do with them really. I use to take the most disagreeable client for a walk up to our school to look at the animals, it always made them easier to handle 20 minutes out of the staff view & work load, so by the time they came back, every body was happier
