Lori La Bey and Richard Taylor

Thinking of Richard Taylor and the hideous onslaught on his body as he is facing chemotherapy, radiotherapy and then radical surgery for oesophageal cancer, one wonders how much the human body and spirit can withstand. He is not alone around the world, as the wonderful Lori La Bey has proven with her tribute radio show for Richard. Lori deserves our thanks and support for her extraordinary work for people with dementia and their loved ones.

She wrote after the show;

“I wanted to say thank you for all of you who participated in the special radio show for Richard Taylor either by calling in or sending a note to read.  For those  of you who were not able to participate you can go to my blog to write a comment to Richard if you would like.  Below is the link to the blog which links to the show, as well as a direct link to the show. If you would like to help push this show out to your sphere to help spread the work of Richard please do so.

  1. Hello Kate,
    I just stuffed up my first attempt as I try to add re3spond to your posts. It is people like you, Richard Taylor and Lori La Bey, who make the rest of us reasonably healthy beings realise just how lucky we are. Keep up your inspiring writing and stay committed to your dreams. Dreams are such an important factor in all our lives.
    Power to your pen.
