  1. What a wonderful initatitive Kate and good on you for raising awareness-well done! Awareness is key! I would love to be in a group like that in New Zealand-can you be in the group if you don’t have dementia? Am i allowed to apply for that group because of my Grandad’s dementia? These people are all wonderful like you Kate and very proud of you all for what you are doing and very best wishes for the future. I like the saying “Mr Dementia”. I call it the dreaded “D” word-probably because i am using an alliteration!

  2. Day 2 also included a session on the social exclusion of people living alone with dementia. Exclusion still seems to be the name of the game.
