To all my friends who have sent messages to me, and to my family on my blog yesterday, or on Facebook, Twitter, email or by phone or text, thank you from the bottom of our hearts, from us all. Due to a badge from the offending driver’s car being found, the coward handed himself into police yesterday afternoon, and was charged last night. It won’t bring Aunty Bet back, but it is better than him getting away with it… It seems if he had stopped, she may be still be alive, something we will all have to learn to live with. Anger won’t stop the grief, nor bring her back, so learning more new lessons on grief is where we are all headed. Again, thank you for your support, especially my darling husband Pete and my girlfriend Jacinta who is here staying with me.
