Lessons in life

One last time

Lessons on surviving judgement

Barely surviving alcoholism

No longer surviving untreated meant illness

A family who put the dis in dysfunction

Unacknowledged old wounds

Holding up a good life

Bashing up current relationships

Treatment worthy of the enemy

Not someone they claim to love

Judging others as they are

Too afraid to look in the mirror

Terrified of what they will see

Real love is, after all

The absence of judgement
