Dearest Kate,
Congratulations on winning the 2018 Richard Taylor Advocate Award.
You never cease to amaze me with your generosity of spirit, and your eternal determination to make a difference.
Your unfailing belief in creating change in rethinking dementia, and your upholding of the rights of those that for too long have been beaten down by subjective negative stigma and stereotype, has been selfless towards humanity as a whole.
You are so compelling, and real, and I am in awe of your remarkable and extraordinary ability to communicate to the world how cognitive assumptions are just not acceptable when discussing people who live with dementia.
I applaud you for your courage in dispelling every negative myth created to unfairly label ad judge people living with dementia.
How dare humanity arrogantly perpetuate falsehoods against other human beings because of a medical disability/condition.
BRUTAL!!!!!!
I continue to be in awe of you darling one, and I feel so proud to know you and call you my friend.
You inspire me every day to be a better version of myself.
My hero!!!!!!!
Love your work and its a privilege to work along side you.

Thaks girlfriend… it is not possible to do anything alone, and without the support of so many warriors, none of this could or would have happened. Being recognised by my peers was wonderful, and deeply emotional (as you may have noticed on the video!!!), and I just hope Richard would also be pleased. xxx
Ahhhh babe – You deserve this solely as the person who inspires us all to work together. Yes we are all warriors, but you my love are our Queen – I salute you.
And by the way – the tears were rolling down my face when I watched the video.
For you, for all the people living with dementia who need our strength, for humanity and with such overwhelming pride for you receiving this award. Richard would be cheering you on as we speak I believe.
Loved it!!!!!!!!!
Congratulations Kate!
I will represent some of your thoughts about human rights and BPSD at Slovenian Congress in Ljubljana (Sept. 28.)
