In case you need any inspiration today, watch and listen to the late Dr Richard Taylor talk about dementia in 2009. He continues to be my inspiration, and a man I feel so blessed to have called a dear friend.

Dear Kate, thank you for sharing Richard Taylor’s powerful “I’m still a person… I’m still here” messages. They add weight to Allen Power’s references to Richard in Allen’s Dementia beyond drugs & disease books.
My wife was similarly determined throughout her dementia journey to let people know she was “still here”. I can also tell from reading your posts that you are of the same mind. Thank you for your persistent insight, with best wishes – Paul Williams.

An inspiring man Kate you have good choice of friends. Richards words were on the money in 2009 sadly maybe we haven’t truly progress yet to listen to him and you to what you are really saying. Thanks for sharing 🤗ness

He sure was ness… and sadly, almost nothing has really changed, but rather the fancy facade that’s been put up to make many think it has.
