Wishing everyone a truly Blessed and peaceful Christmas. Hopefully you will be spending some time with at least one or two loving family and/or friends. It is easy to think everyone is happy on this day, but my mind always wanders to those who are not, and I can do no more than send healing thoughts their way. I work in an Age Care Facility and value what I read here. I am always on the lookout for anything that helps us better understand and care for people with dementia. I try to do things with our residents that they have liked to do in the past, or something I have found that makes them happy in themselves.
It is a privilege to be able care for these amazing people.
