Keep calm…

Keep-calm-and-don-t-fall-over

A new sign

Rests above this poem

“Keep calm and

Don’t fall over”

For falling over

Is my latest new trick

Not like in the circus

But down the stairs

Or over my own feet

A new clumsiness

Changes in my vision

Increasing the worry factor

For one very dear husband

And renewed feelings

Of stupidity

Even though I know

It’s not my fault

It sounds so easy to

Keep calm

And not fall over

(Ps. This is a Saturday poem, on a Sunday!!!)

  1. Kate – SO sorry you’re having this problem -hope you don’t injure yourself. I’m injuring myself a lot lately too, because I move and do things quickly and now I’m getting too slow and end up hurting myself. About 2 months ago I had 21 bruises on my legs from knocking my legs everywhere. I hurt my shoulder a few months too, ago requiring physio. I’ve never had this problem before either. damn!
