Thank you Brené Brown, for this timely reminder that it’s not just ok to stand up for what we believe in, to say the unsaid, it’s worth doing even if we are alone.
It is sometimes lonely daring to bring light to stuff that’s been pushed into or kept in the shadows, especially when the power and control is not only determined by others with all of the power and money, who have different agendas, but they refuse to listen to anyone who disagrees.
In the world of dementia #advocacy or #activism, #inclusion returns to #exclusion, if you dare to lead.

Thanks Kate a beautiful message relevant in so many ways, hope you are travelling ok cheers Ness 😘

Brene is a wonder to learn from. She has great things to offer if we listen and act on them. Such crazy times and I worry for everyone. Stay safe Kate and be well. I think of you often, especially as the seasons change and we shift into our new ways of being. Take care…VK ❤

I really needed this one right now. Trying something new in dementia advocacy and facing many, many closed doors.
