In case you missed it…

There were a few who reminded me my website is not a place of Medical Advice, which I make very clear on my home page, which I will add up from here:

No Medical Advice: Information and other content included on this Site is for general informational and educational purposes only and is not meant to be a substitute for the advice provided by a professional health care provider. You may not use or rely on any information contained on the Site for diagnosing a health or medical problem or disease. Comments made by others, and approved for posting on are opinions of the authors, and do not represent the opinions of Kate Swaffer. You should always consult a professional health care provider regarding any health or medical condition, prevention, or treatment. Do not delay or disregard seeking professional medical advice on account of something you have read on”

Whether this series about reversing dementia interests you or not, I need to state clearly, I am not stating that I believe any of the claims made in the series work, or are evidence based. I am merely very interested in alternatives to the way the Western health care sector manage dementia or any health issues in general, and all of my life, have continued looked for holistic or other ways to manage my own health issues. What you think of it, is entirely up to you…

However, I see no harm in highlighting things that I am interested in, and feel others may be interested in, that relate to health, which is why I highlighted a series of videos recently about managing health and dementia differently. Many who signed up for the series also came back to me here saying they had not received some of the daily videos or had other trouble accessing them, so I want to highlight the contents of an email received overnight for any who missed any or all of the series, and who is keen to watch it.

The email below was received today from “Awakening from Alzheimer’s”:

“Dear Kate,

The response to this weekend’s interviews has been simply overwhelming.

I can’t thank you enough for the incredible stories of hope being shared both via email and in the Awakening from Alzheimer’s Facebook group.

It’s been an amazing 12 days!

And I understand that given the amount of material being covered in these interviews, at times it seems nearly impossible to keep up.

Many people are telling us they missed some episodes. Others desperately want to see their favorites again. And in some cases, people heard about the event while it was already in progress, so they missed the first few episodes.

I spent yesterday working with my team to figure out a way to address this avalanche of requests we’ve received over the weekend. We want to give everyone a fair chance to see ALL of this priceless, life-saving information.

I think we’ve come up with a way that can make everybody happy and allow us to reach as many people as possible with the series.

We’ve decided to schedule a replay weekend event this coming weekend where ALL of the 14 interviews can be accessed all weekend long. We’re working on a way to allow you to access any of the interviews you missed on demand. You can watch them at any time over the 60-hour replay event.

The replay begins at noon ET Friday, October 7th, and will run through 11:59 PM ET Sunday evening, October 9th.

We’ll be sending you a link with more details as soon as they become available.

And to be fair to those of you who wanted to order, but missed this morning’s deadline, we’ve also decided to extend the Event-only savings through Sunday night as well. This will allow you to review the interviews you missed without missing out on the 50% discount.

It’s the only fair thing to do, and it will also give us some time to follow up with all of your emails and phone calls over the past weekend!

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing so many wonderful stories of hope over the past 12 days. And I want to give you every opportunity to absorb every minute of this life-changing series. I believe this is the best solution to our “problem,” and I think you’ll agree.

As we prepare programming for the replay weekend, you can still access the pilot episode by clicking here.

And – if you have a friend or loved one who missed out on this incredible series, PLEASE forward them this email – they can still register for the replay weekend and receive our updates by clicking the link below:

Friends and family REGISTER HERE for the replay event!

I’m so excited about the impact this series is having and I hope you will enjoy and share this extended replay weekend event!

Warm regards,

Lee Euler

P.S. Many of you have asked if there would be a rebroadcast of Dr. Brown and Dr. Gerbarg’s interviews – the answer is YES! All interviews, including Dr. Brown and Dr. Gerbarg, will be available for viewing over the weekend. This is the perfect opportunity to catch up on anything you’ve missed. I’ll be sending you more details on the replay event later this week.”

What you do with information like this is 100% up to you…

  1. Hi Kate,
this is the first time I have been involved in a blogg, so I hope this is ok. I have just started with Wicking, MOOC University of Tasmania, Understanding Dementia and found your website, which I must say is extremely interesting and honest, then watching you on the SBS channel ‘You Cant ask that.” .I loved your passion and look forward to finishing your book, thank you, and I look forward to more bloggs

  2. To those who remind you of the dangers of giving medical advice….Don’t be too hard on them Kate they may have memory impairment:)
You come across to me as one of the most credible people I have ever had the pleasure of blog reading.
An authentic human being, I don’t know why you should have to explain yourself to others all the time. Maybe they don’t read the ‘fine’ print. Best intentions intended only.

    • Not meaning to give them a hard time… sorry if it came across that way. I’m very open to sharing most information, but really do feel Bredesen’s work is the MOST EXCITING for the last 50 years of dementia research! x
