Here are the links to three podcasts hosted by ‘With All Due Respect‘ I was interviewed for last year, which I probably forgot to share here. My beliefs about the dementia-friendly iniatives is that they are unfriendly to people with dementia, and wporse, are a waste of time and money; money that should be used for improving post diagnostic support and care.
This has not changed, other than my beliefs are stronger the more I explore the ramificatoins of the fact that dementia is a major cause of disability, which continues to be ignored in practivce. ps sadly, the podcast is no longer active.
Anyway, this topic continues to be topical for me, so I hope to add a few more blogs on it in the next few months.
